The Clarendon Hotel Food and Drink Festival, Saturday 1st October 2016, 12-6pm
Très Bon Raymond will be making it's debut at my partner, Lionel Strub's Oliver Award winning hotel, The Clarendon Hotel, Saturday October 1st, 12-6.
This is also a festival i've organised, here are the details...
The Oliver Award winning Clarendon Hotel at Hebden, Skipton are having their first food and drink festival on October 1st, 12-6pm. French Chef/owner Lionel and his partner Kirsty have organised a fun day out for all the family.
Lionel and other chefs, including Yorkshire Food Finder, Sue Nelson, will be doing cooking demonstrations inside a marquee. Lionel, speaking about the festival “this is a fantastic opportunity to show case the array of wonderful produce the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. We are really excited about our new menu, the majority of our produce is not just sourced within Yorkshire but within 5 miles of the pub, there are not many places that can offer that!”
After 18 years in nursing and passionate about food Kirsty is now running the pub with Lionel. Her new venture a French street food outlet called Très Bon Raymond, will be launched on October 1st at the festival. The opening will be officially done by BBC Look North Presenter, Charlotte Leeming along with her husband, Justin Leeming, who did the artwork.
There will be stalls by Slingsby and Whittaker’s Gin, more French Street food with a Yorkshire twist by The Clarendon Hotel and The Flip Side Crêpes, live music, children’s entertainment, fun dog show and more. The pub will also be open as usual serving special guest ales, so no need to worry about the weather.
