Bread making class at The Menstone

This morning I did my first class at the Menstone in Menston, with a lovely group of people. I showed the class how to make bread, using fresh yeast and only a minute or so kneading. While the bread was proving they ate a freshly baked baguette that I had made earlier. Pizza and garlic dough balls were also demonstrated and eaten.

I was really impressed by all the bread made today in class. Especially by two Italian girls, who made beautiful loaves that put mine to shame. La bella figura...Italians really do make everything beautiful even bread!

A couple of weeks ago, I received a message from a lovely lady with mobility issues in her hands. She uses a magi mix at home with the help of her husband. I encouraged her to come to class and bring the magi mix. We set up a really good work station for her and we all pitched in to help with the tasks that she struggles with. I was really touched after that she said she had been really wanting to do a class for ages but hadn't found one that accommodated her needs.

We were also lucky to have a gorgeous young baby in the group. So if you think there is an obstacle

as to why you can't make it to class but you want to come, please message first and we will do our best to work round anything.

Thanks to everyone who came, and for all the help clearing and washing up. Here are the rest of the pics.
