The last Thai supper club sold out. I had lots of people asking if I would do another one. I really wanted to do another charity event. I heard that it was International Women's Day on March 8th so I decided to give half of the proceeds to Leeds domestic violence charity, behind closed doors.
There will be the usual format of me showing how to make a few of the dishes. I will demonstrate how to make sweetcorn cakes, red curry paste and you can take some home should you wish. Then I will show how to make stir fried chicken with crispy holy basil leaves. Please bring your own drinks, I don't have a licence. Single diners welcome, this is a social event, a chance to meet like minded people, talk about food, learn how to make thai food and generally have a laugh. I will take the fear out of going to the specialist supermarkets, by showing you and talking through all the ingredients. You'll get a recipe sheet to take home also. They'll be dishes from mild to spicy, something for everyone.
